We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems and data. This role involves designing secure cloud architectures, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures for applications and data storage.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents in a cloud environment.
- Implement security best practices and compliance frameworks in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure security is integrated into the software development lifecycle.
- Provide guidance on secure coding practices and conduct code reviews for security vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends in cloud technologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-11 years of experience in cloud security or related fields.
- Strong understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Proficient in cloud security tools and technologies such as IAM, encryption, and security monitoring tools.
- Experience with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or HIPAA.
- Knowledge of network security concepts and firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Certifications in cloud security (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate) are highly desirable.
