Cloud Security Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer with hands-on experience across AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms. The role focuses on securing multi-cloud environments, identifying risks, and implementing best-in-class security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement security controls across AWS, GCP, and other cloud platforms

Monitor cloud environments for threats, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations

Manage IAM roles, policies, and identity governance across cloud platforms

Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk analysis

Ensure compliance with industry standards and frameworks

Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate DevSecOps practices

Manage cloud-native security tools (e.g., Security Hub, GuardDuty, GCP Security Command Center)

Required Skills:

Hands-on experience in AWS and/or GCP cloud security

Strong understanding of multi-cloud security architecture

Knowledge of IAM, network security, encryption, and data protection

Experience with vulnerability management and cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools

Familiarity with cloud networking (VPC, subnets, firewalls, VPNs)

Understanding of DevSecOps and CI/CD security

Good to Have:

Certifications like AWS Security Specialty / Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer

Experience with scripting (Python, Bash)

Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI-DSS)

Exposure to container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
