Role Overview

As a CBSP Cloud Ops Support Person, you will be the primary engine behind our order provisioning ecosystem. This role is not just about monitoring it's about ensuring the seamless flow of data from storefront to cloud. You will manage the critical path between Magento (our commerce entry point) and our homegrown CBSP (Cloud Business Service Platform).

Because CBSP is a unique, proprietary platform, you will need a developer's mindset to navigate its internal portals and a cloud architect's understanding of how metadata translates into live resources across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end order provisioning process, ensuring requests from Magento are captured, validated, and processed.
• Metadata Integrity: Act as the gatekeeper for metadata transfer, ensuring that technical specifications provided by customers are correctly formatted and submitted to the cloud provisioner.
• Hybrid Cloud Support: Troubleshoot and facilitate provisioning workflows across both Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
• Portal Optimization: Perform light development and maintenance within internal portals to streamline the submission-to-provisioner workflow.
• Incident Resolution: Identify and resolve bottlenecks where homegrown automation meets public cloud APIs, ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Billing Operations: Handling CBSP usage data, processing usage records, and accurately submitting them to SAP.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Provisioning Expertise: Proven experience in automated order provisioning and service fulfillment cycles.
• AWS Knowledge (Must-Have): The candidate must have hands-on experience with AWS and a strong understanding of its services.
• AWS Serverless Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, including function design, deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
• Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and IAM for secure serverless architectures.
• CI/CD & Deployment Tools: Practical experience deploying applications using Bamboo, including build plans, deployment projects, and pipeline automation.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Ability to monitor serverless applications, debug Lambda functions, analyze logs, and troubleshoot performance or deployment issues
• Development Background: Basic development experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java) to understand and modify portal logic and API calls.
• E-commerce Integration: Familiarity with Magento or similar platforms as an upstream source for cloud service requests. Collaborate with internal Avaya teams such as Magento, SAP, and ServiceNow.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Strong ability to trace metadata through a complex, homegrown distributed system to identify where data drops occur.

Daily Operations & Team Integration

• Stakeholder Collaboration: You will work closely with Adam Anzeveno and the wider Cloud Ops team to align provisioning logic with infrastructure capabilities.
• Pune Ops Lead: As part of the Pune-based contingent, you will be the point person for resolving order failures during the local business day to ensure global always-on availability.

. Sprint Participation: While primarily operations-focused, you will contribute to development sprints focused on improving the CBSP portal's efficiency.
