We are looking for a skilled and proactive
Cloud Operations Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure on
AWS and/or Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of cloud environments while driving automation and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud environments
- Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Automate operational tasks using scripting and cloud-native tools
- Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams
- Manage backups, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity planning
- Ensure cloud security best practices and compliance standards
- Support cost optimization and resource utilization initiatives
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
- Strong understanding of cloud services (compute, storage, networking)
- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana)
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of networking, security, and IAM concepts
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation)
- Exposure to DevOps practices and automation frameworks
- Knowledge of cost optimization tools and strategies
- Certifications in AWS / Azure are a plus
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
