Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using private and public cloud technologies driving next-generation business outcomes.

Must have skills : Oracle Database Architecture

Good to have skills : Oracle Database Administration (DBA)

Minimum 3 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes strategizing and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and deliver high performance. The position requires coordinating with various teams to align migration efforts with business goals, while leveraging both private and public cloud technologies to support innovative and future-ready business outcomes. Continuous monitoring and adjustment of migration plans are essential to address challenges and optimize results throughout the process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and integration of applications and data.
• Document migration processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support during migration activities.
• Monitor post-migration performance and troubleshoot any issues to maintain system reliability.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Architecture.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts and migration strategies.
• Familiarity with private and public cloud platforms and their services.
• Ability to analyze and optimize database performance in cloud environments.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting to streamline migration tasks.

• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
