Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using private and public cloud technologies driving next-generation business outcomes.

Must have skills : Oracle Database Architecture

Good to have skills : Oracle Database Administration (DBA)

Minimum 3 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning applications and data to cloud environments. This role includes strategizing and executing migration plans that ensure scalability and high performance, utilizing both private and public cloud platforms. The position requires close collaboration with various teams to align migration efforts with business goals, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption during the transition process. Continuous monitoring and optimization of migrated solutions are also key aspects of daily activities to support next-generation business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration processes and address any challenges that arise.
• Document migration procedures and best practices to support knowledge sharing and future projects.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support during migration tasks.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Architecture.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts and migration strategies.
• Familiarity with private and public cloud platforms and their respective architectures.
• Ability to analyze and optimize database performance in cloud environments.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues during migration.

• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
