Description
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Manager to lead our GCP cloud operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud management and will be responsible for overseeing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security while managing a team of cloud engineers.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions tailored to the needs of the organization.
- Monitor cloud performance and optimize resource usage for cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with existing applications.
- Implement security protocols and best practices for cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues in a timely manner.
- Manage and lead a team of cloud engineers and support staff to ensure operational excellence.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in cloud management, specifically with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, architecture, and services offered by GCP.
- Experience with cloud security practices and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of networking and data storage solutions in the cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage a diverse team.
