Cloud & IT Infrastructure Architect

Role Overview

The Cloud & IT Infrastructure Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, governing, and managing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions to support both client projects and the company's internal systems. This role involves leading cloud strategy, ensuring architectural consistency, and optimizing cost and performance. The architect will collaborate closely with IT and analytics teams to develop integrated infrastructure and cloud strategies that align with internal operations, client needs, and industry best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

-Lead the creation of comprehensive cloud strategies for clients to support their business and IT objectives.

-Provide architectural guidancedesign and implement on-premise and cloud-based systems and applications, ensuring compliance, security, privacy, scalability, and reliability.

-Recommend and implement the right set of services for AWS and Azure to optimize performance and cost.

-Implement security best practices and ensure both cloud and on-premises environments meet industry standards and regulatory compliance.

-Establish IT and data governance policies to maintain consistency and control across systems.

-Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for infrastructure architecture, guiding technical decisions and best practices.

-Maintain and monitor cloud environments and in-house applications to ensure stability and performance.

-Perform root cause analysis and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.

-Build trusted partnerships with clients by delivering reliable, scalable, and secure solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

-710 years of experience in IT architecture, spanning both infrastructure and cloud domains.

-Relevant cloud and infrastructure certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware VCP, CCNP).

-Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment.

-Demonstrated integrity, commitment to learning, and dedication to high-quality delivery.

-Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.
