Overall 7+ years of industry experience with 5 Years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- 5+ years of Unix/Linux system administration experience extensively.
- At least 3 years experience in supporting and maintaining the on-prem production-grade environment in two or more like Redis (Enterprise), Kafka, Elasticsearch and Astronomer etc.
- At least 2 years experience in supporting and maintaining the production-grade environment in Terraform or similar IAC tool.
- At least 2 years experience in supporting and maintaining the production-grade environment in Google cloud (Foundations and Managed services like PSC, Interconnect, Pub Sub, Cloud Run, Memory store etc).
- At least 2 years experience in supporting and maintaining the production-grade environment in deploying COTS apps in K8 environments like OpenShift or GKE.
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Shell Scripts, Python/Java).
- Cluster management, configurations, upgrades, and migrations on Red Hat Linux 8 in virtual machines.
- Leading big infra migrations programs from on-prem to on-prem, on-prem to Public and Hybrid clouds.
- Extensive experience in Linux performance monitoring by using system tools, security setup, troubleshooting and performance tuning as necessary to ensure optimum performance, patching of Linux servers on regular schedule.
- Eager to learn new technologies in a short time span.
- Experience in change management, Incident management, RFC, Problem management & RCA.
- Experience in automation to increase efficiency.
- Optimize and streamline troubleshooting and debugging efforts by applying expertise across the infra and app domain.
- Working knowledge of monitoring tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and English communication skills with difficult customers in outage situations.
