CLOUD ENGINEER

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure Policy, Azure DevOps, Defender for Cloud and Terraform to drive infrastructure automation, security compliance, reporting, and cloud governance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), enforcing cloud security policies, and optimizing DevOps workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enforce Azure Policy to ensure governance, security, and compliance in Azure environments.
• Design, develop and enforce CSPM recommendations in Microsoft defender for cloud.
• Implement Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Manage and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) to streamline application deployment and infrastructure changes.
• Develop CustomAzure Policy definitions and assignments to enforce cloud best practices.
• Automated Tag review/audits & their implantation and strong knowledge on App Registration, Azure's core security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to policy enforcement, pipeline failures, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Work with security and governance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for better visibility into infrastructure health.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to implement best DevOps practices.
• Maintain version control and change management for Terraform codebases.
• Strong experience in Documentation and PowerBI Reporting with exposure to Agile tools like Jira.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Policy (custom policies, initiatives, assignments, and remediation).
• Proficiency in Terraform for managing Azure infrastructure.
• Experience in building and managing Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of ARM templates and Bicep (optional but a plus).
• Strong understanding of Azure RBAC, security controls, and governance best practices.
• Experience with PowerShell and Python for automation.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
