Leapswitch Networks is looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud Hosting Specialist/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud hosting environments, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability for our clients
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Deploy, manage, and maintain cloud hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Monitor and optimize resource utilization to ensure cost-efficiency.
Web Hosting Support:
Set up and manage web hosting services, including cPanel, Plesk, and custom solutions.
Handle DNS configurations, SSL installations, and domain management.
Performance and Security:
Implement best practices for cloud security, including firewalls, access control, and encryption.
Monitor and enhance server performance, uptime, and responsiveness.
Technical Support:
Provide Level 2/3 support for escalated hosting and infrastructure issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer technical challenges.
Automation and Scripting:
Automate repetitive tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or shell scripts.
Develop CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation of cloud setups, configurations, and processes.
Provide periodic reports on resource usage and system health.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent.
Experience with Linux server management.
Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V.
Strong understanding of networking (e.g., load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs).
Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
