Who You'll Work With

Secure Foundations (SF) Managed Cloud Services (MCS) is an entity within worldwide IT organization that provides IT support services primarily to Firm members & clients. This team is responsible for managing the Firm's global IT infrastructure and applications. You will work for the SAP ERP Platform Team within SF-MCS that provides Operation & Engineering services for business operations. It's a team of experienced engineers supports our SAP Payroll platform in collaboration with ABAP developers, Payroll Functional experts, and Integration teams, driving initiatives that enhance stability, optimization, and consistency across the SAP ERP landscape. Beyond technology skills, our SAP Payroll Basis administration operations engineers team bring skills essential to client service, including Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Process Orientation and Business savvy. Team members are currently distributed globally across two time zones (India, Costa Rica)

What You'll Do

The Sap Payroll Basis administrator provides 24/5 support for SAP Payroll Landscape SAP HANA Cloud, MaxDB, SAP Integration (CPI), SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) & AWS Cloud environments based out of Gurgaon (India) , working with stakeholders/vendors, troubleshooting operational issues. Evaluates critical ERP/BTP tiers security issues (content, internal controls, access levels, etc.) and makes recommendations, such as infrastructure & application patching, upgrades to new versions or successor releases.

SAP Basis administrator works directly with global customers to resolve escalated SAP Payroll environment issues, recommends changes, and participates in their implementation. Additionally, the role involves reviewing, developing, enforcing, and adhering to policies and procedures related to high availability, access management, and scalability for SAP ERP, CPI, and AWS environments.The candidate should demonstrate adaptability to system enhancements and evolving business requirements. Proficient communication and collaboration are required for interfacing with internal IT teams, cross-functional product teams, technical development resources, enterprise cybersecurity functions, and third-party vendors

Skills

Bachelor or Master degree in information technology from an accredited college/university

3 to 5 max years of industry experience managing the SPA Payroll landscape and having the good exposure in Payroll project implementation, migration & operational support

Strong understanding of SAP system architecture (Sap Payroll Cloud) with hands-on expertise in system configuration, upgrades, migrations, and patching activities

Experienced in system copies, client administration, transport management, and performance tuning across SAP landscapes

Capable of independently monitoring and optimizing system performance, conducting capacity planning, managing resources, ensuring security and compliance, and executing effective backup and recovery strategies

Proficient in managing transport requests and overseeing change management processes across development, quality, and production environments.

Conducts system health monitoring, oversees job scheduling, and performs root cause analysis to address and resolve issues.

Coordinates with vendors for product deployment and troubleshooting with minimal supervision.

Provides operational support for MaxDB, SAP HANA DB, S/4HANA, SAP BTP and Fiori landscapes

Designs and maintains user roles and authorizations within SAP systems, including S/4HANA and SAP Payroll environments

Manages user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role adjustments as per business requirements

Collaborates with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure alignment with system security standards and policies.
