Job Description

We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Lead to architect, implement, and manage the cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices for our CLEAR and CLEAR AI platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC). You will lead a team of DevOps engineers and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and security teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of our platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure (primarily on AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Define and enforce DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines, IaC, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS).
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security through proactive monitoring and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch).
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize build, deployment, and release processes.
  • Drive cost optimization and performance tuning across cloud environments.
  • Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, cloud services, and AI/ML infrastructure trends.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting AI/ML workloads or GPU-based infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with media workflows, video processing, or content delivery networks (CDNs).
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD, or Terraform Associate.
  • Exposure to zero-downtime deployments, blue-green deployments, and chaos engineering.
