We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join the Satair team. In this role, you will be a key part of our digital infrastructure, designing and maintaining the blueprints for our cloud ecosystem. You will lead the deployment and management of mission-critical applications on AWS (EKS) and OpenShift, ensuring high availability through robust networking and automated CI/CD. Your role is to ensure that our applications are not just deployed, but are scalable, secure, and highly resilient.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Orchestration: Set up and maintain end-to-end container strategies using Kubernetes (EKS) and OpenShift.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and manage cloud resources on AWS, focusing on automated provisioning and secure environment isolation.
Advanced Networking: Architect and manage secure cloud networking components, including VPCs, Subnets, NAT Gateways, Proxies, and Load Balancers to ensure secure traffic flow and connectivity.
CI/CD & Automation: Build and optimize robust Jenkins pipelines to ensure seamless application delivery and infrastructure consistency.
Pipeline Management: Support and maintain data-driven workflows using Apache Airflow (Python) to ensure reliable execution of ETL processes.
Observability & Reliability: Implement and manage advanced monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana to maintain 24/7 system health.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Typically 2+ years as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Platform Engineer.
Cloud & Containers: Expertise in AWS (EKS) and Red Hat OpenShift. Deep understanding of Docker and container orchestration.
Networking Mastery: Strong hands-on experience with VPC peering, NAT Gateways, Forward/Reverse Proxies, and API Gateways.
DevOps Tools: Expert knowledge of Jenkins for building multi-stage, automated CI/CD pipelines.
Scripting: Strong Python skills for infrastructure automation and managing Airflow DAGs.
Monitoring Stack: Proficiency with Prometheus and Grafana for building real-time dashboards and alerting systems.
Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, and Service Mesh).
Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex infrastructure concepts to the broader Satair team.
