Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
Cloud Cyber Security Architect with
10+ years of overall IT experience to design, implement, and govern secure cloud architectures across
Azure and/or AWS environments. The ideal candidate will lead cloud security strategy, ensure compliance, and work closely with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams to embed security across the cloud lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and own secure cloud architecture for Azure and AWS platforms.
- Define cloud security standards, policies, and reference architectures.
- Implement Zero Trust Architecture and security best practices across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Architect and manage Identity & Access Management (IAM) using Azure AD and AWS IAM.
- Design secure network architectures (VNET/VPC, firewalls, WAF, private endpoints).
- Ensure data security through encryption, key management, and secure storage.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Conduct cloud security risk assessments, threat modeling, and architecture reviews.
- Implement and manage cloud-native security services (Defender, Sentinel, GuardDuty, Security Hub).
- Lead incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and internal security policies.
- Act as a security advisor to stakeholders and mentor junior security engineers.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in cloud security architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
- Deep understanding of cloud security architecture and governance.
- Expertise in IAM, network security, data protection, and key management.
- Experience with DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of SIEM/SOC operations and incident response.
- Strong experience in security audits and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Cloud security certifications:
- AWS Certified Security Specialty
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer / Solutions Architect
- CISSP / CCSP certification
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments (BFSI, Healthcare, Telecom, etc.)
- Experience with hybrid cloud and on-prem integration
