Key Skills:
- 3+ years of AWS Data platform experience (Overall experience of 12+ years) including AWS-EMR Cluster Platform, Glue, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Redshift, Sagemaker, Lake formation and Glue catalogue. Experience in Databricks platform is a definite plus.
- Data Storage Fundamentals
- Cloud specific patterns and technologies
- AWS Service Selection, Container design
- Experience in data security areas in AWS like IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Inspector
Responsibility:
- Managing the full life cycle of a data platform solution in AWS.
- Leading AWS cloud design and development, testing, and deployment of the proposed solution. Interpersonal skills are important as there is a need to interact with business/technical users. Gather Application Know-how necessary for design and development using AWS tools.
- Able to analyze complex problems using information provided, understand customer requests, and provide the appropriate solution.
- Need to have expertise in the set-up and administration of AWS data platform including security areas and have working knowledge of tools like Pyspark, Iceberg Framework, AWS stack of data products like S3, Redshift.
