Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Migration/Associate Architect (Azure/AWS) for an on-site, full-time role based in Chennai. The Associate Architect will be responsible for designing cloud architectures, leading migration projects, managing integrations, and ensuring robust architectural designs to meet client needs. The role includes active collaboration with development and project management teams to deliver efficient and scalable solutions. Proactive involvement in client requirements, problem-solving, and innovative solution-building are integral to this position.

Responsibilities
Assist in designing Azure/AWS architectures for applications, databases, and infrastructure workloads.
Support the creation of high-level and low-level design documents.
Participate in Well-Architected Framework reviews to ensure best practices in reliability, performance, security, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
2. Implementation & Deployment
Configure and deploy Azure/AWS services .
Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
Assist with network architecture including VPC design, VPN, Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect.
3. Migration & Modernization
Support on-premises to Azure/AWS migrations for servers, applications, and databases.
Work with migration tools such as Azure Migrate/Azure Site Recovery/AWS Migration Hub, Application Migration Service, DMS.
Assist in application refactoring, containerization, and serverless adoption.
4. Security & Compliance
Implement Azure/AWS security best practices for IAM, encryption, and monitoring.
Assist with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR.
Support cloud governance including tagging strategies, budgets, and cost control.
5. Collaboration & Documentation
Work with cross-functional teams including developers, network engineers, and DevOps teams.
Maintain detailed technical documentation for solutions delivered.
