Cloud Platform Architecture
- Proven experience in building or enhancing cloud platforms from scratch.
- Deep understanding of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience designing landing zones, network architecture, and multi-account/multi-tenant setups.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, CDK, or Pulumi.
- Ability to create modular, reusable, and scalable IaC frameworks.
- Experience integrating IaC with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
Kubernetes & Container Platforms
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) or OpenShift.
- Ability to bootstrap clusters, implement GitOps, and manage platform policies.
- Experience deploying workloads and integrating Kubernetes with cloud services.
Observability & Monitoring
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
- Ability to design centralized observability and alerting across cloud and container environments.
- Experience embedding monitoring into IaC pipelines and automated deployments.
Security & Governance
- Strong knowledge of IAM, network security, compliance, and cloud governance.
- Experience implementing policy-as-code, guardrails, or automated compliance checks.
Business & Stakeholder Engagement
- Ability to articulate cloud platform value to application owners or business stakeholders.
- Experience presenting solutions to senior management or executives.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Applications).
- Ability to mentor engineers and set platform standards.

- Multi-Cloud & Hybrid Cloud
- Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
- Understanding of cloud interoperability, migration patterns, and hybrid connectivity.
- Advanced Cloud Services
- Familiarity with serverless or PaaS platforms.
- Experience with FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and automation.
- AI & Automation Integration
- Knowledge of AIOps, agentic AI, or generative AI for automating cloud operations.
- Experience implementing self-healing or predictive automation in cloud platforms.
- Certifications & Continuous Learning
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Pro, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Architect, or Terraform Associate.
- Continuous learning mindset for emerging cloud technologies.
