Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design, automation,

deployment, and optimization of our multi cloud Kubernetes product stack. Our platform

runs on AWS, GCP, Azure, and IBM Cloud, with a heavy focus on GCP and AWS.

This role requires deep expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, multicloud architecture,

automation (Ansible + AWX), serverless, CI/CD, and modern

Observability/Monitoring using OpenTelemetry (OTel) feeding into Grafana. It also

requires a strong understanding of Cloud services like Databases (RDS/Postgress),

Networking (LB/NLB/Ingress), Compute, Storage (both block and BLOB), Monitoring

(CloudWatch) in at least one of the Cloud Providers and general understanding of the

same in rest of the Cloud Providers.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, SRE, product, and customer

teams to deliver production grade, scalable cloud solutions and help guide our journey

toward incorporating AI-driven capabilities into our system.

This is a highownership, highvisibility position for someone who enjoys solving complex

distributedsystems problems and building fully automated, multi cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Design

Architect and maintain endtoend multi cloud solutions across AWS, GCP, Azure,

and IBM Cloud.

Assessing open source and proprietary solutions to determine the most appropriate

approach, considering factors such as cost, flexibility, support, and long-term

maintainability.

Design scalable and secure Kubernetes deployments using Helm, Ingress

controllers, service mesh (preferred), and cloud-native networking.

Own the cloud reference architecture and drive technical decisions for scalability,

reliability, and security.

Design solutions integrating with RDS, MongoDB, Kafka, Aerospike, Glue-like

ETL pipelines, and cloud-native databases.

Kubernetes Platform Ownership

Lead architecture, optimization, and security for Kubernetes clusters across

public clouds.

Define Helm chart standards, release lifecycle, and multienvironment strategies.

Implement highavailability (HA), autoscaling, and multi region architectures.

Automation & DevOps

Develop and maintain automation using Ansible, AWX, Jenkins, and scripting

(Python, Bash, Go).

Build fully automated provisioning, configuration, and deployment pipelines.

Promote Infrastructure-as-Code (IaS) principles using

Terraform/CloudFormation/GCP Deployment Manager.

Serverless & Application Integration

Architect and optimize serverless solutions in AWS/GCP (Lambda, Cloud

Functions, Step Functions, EventBridge, Pub/Sub).

Deep integration of distributed services across APIs, databases, serverless

functions, and message queues.

Observability, Monitoring & Reliability

Lead OpenTelemetry instrumentation and architecture endtoend.

Ensure seamless pipeline of traces, metrics, and logs from OTel into Grafana

(Tempo, Loki, Mimir preferred).

Set standards for SLOs, SLIs, alerting strategies, and monitoring practices.

AI Readiness & Future Systems

Contribute to integrating AI/ML capabilities into our product pipeline.

Partner with engineering to develop cloudready AI platforms, vector DB

integration, inference workloads, etc.

Customer & Internal Leadership

Work with multiple team (both internal and external like clients) to design cloud

architectures in the environment.

Provide deep technical leadership to engineering, SRE, DevOps, QA, and data

teams.

Conduct architecture reviews, cost optimization exercises, and performance

tuning sessions.

Required Technical Skills

Cloud Expertise (must have)

7+ years in cloud engineering/architecture.

Expertlevel handson experience with AWS and Google Cloud.

Strong working knowledge of Azure and IBM Cloud.

Multicloud networking, IAM, VPC architecture, interconnects, transit gateways,

LB design.
