Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud strategies for enterprise-scale solutions. The candidate will provide technical leadership, define cloud architecture, and ensure alignment with business objectives, security standards, and scalability requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement enterprise cloud architecture strategies for multi-cloud and Azure environments.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architectures.
- Lead the design of high-availability, disaster recovery, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Partner with stakeholders and development teams to transition applications to cloud-native architectures.
- Establish cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Advise on network, storage, compute, and identity solutions and architectural decisions.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on best cloud practices and DevOps integration.
- Participate in capacity planning, cost management, and performance optimization strategies.
- Conduct POC (Proof of Concept) evaluations and technology selection for cloud projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and services.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and governance policies.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools, CI/CD practices, and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments, hybrid network design, and cloud integration strategies.
- Ability to design cloud solutions for scalability, performance, cost-efficiency, and disaster recovery.
- Experience in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud-native application design.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- CI/CD pipeline design using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
- Scripting with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python
- Strong analytical, architectural design, and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- TOGAF Certification or equivalent enterprise architecture experience
- Cloud Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
