Job Description

Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect

Location: India (Bengaluru preferred; remote flexibility available)

Experience Required: Minimum 8+ years in IT/Digital project delivery

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud strategies for enterprise-scale solutions. The candidate will provide technical leadership, define cloud architecture, and ensure alignment with business objectives, security standards, and scalability requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement enterprise cloud architecture strategies for multi-cloud and Azure environments.
  • Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architectures.
  • Lead the design of high-availability, disaster recovery, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Partner with stakeholders and development teams to transition applications to cloud-native architectures.
  • Establish cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Advise on network, storage, compute, and identity solutions and architectural decisions.
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams on best cloud practices and DevOps integration.
  • Participate in capacity planning, cost management, and performance optimization strategies.
  • Conduct POC (Proof of Concept) evaluations and technology selection for cloud projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and services.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and governance policies.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools, CI/CD practices, and automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud environments, hybrid network design, and cloud integration strategies.
  • Ability to design cloud solutions for scalability, performance, cost-efficiency, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud-native application design.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • CI/CD pipeline design using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
  • Scripting with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python
  • Strong analytical, architectural design, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • TOGAF Certification or equivalent enterprise architecture experience
  • Cloud Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
