Job Summary

IQnext is seeking a Cloud & Security Operations Engineer with 2-4 yearsof experience to manage and support cloud infrastructure, production systems, and IT operations. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Linux, Networking, and Security, along with good exposure to IT administration, auditing processes, and operational best practices.

The ideal candidate should be technically strong, process-oriented, and capable of handling production environments with ownership and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Production systems hosted on AWS Cloud
• Provision, configure, and monitor cloud resources
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance
• Monitor system health and respond to production incidents
• Support backup, restore, and Disaster recovery processes and perform periodic DR drills
• Maintain operational and infrastructure documentation
• Manage vulnerability identification and remediation activities
• Manage and support on-premise servers and office IT infrastructure
• Maintain and troubleshoot office network connectivity
• Manage switches, routers, firewalls, and internal network access
• Handle LAN/WAN connectivity issues and vendor coordination
• Ensure the availability and security of office systems and network services

Mandatory skills

• AWS Services: EC2, VPC, IAM, Security Groups, NACLs, Auto Scaling, ALB / NLB, S3, EBS, Snapshots, AMI, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route 53, AWS Certificate Manager, KMS, WAF, CloudFront, SNS, SES.
• Linux & System Administration: Administer and monitor Linux-based production servers, manage services and resources, perform OS patching, analyze logs, troubleshoot system issues, and implement system hardening and security best practices.
• Networking: Apply strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancing, and routing to diagnose and resolve network-level issues in production environments.
• Security Operations: Manage IAM users, roles, and permissions, enforce least-privilege access, monitor security logs and alerts, perform vulnerability assessments and patching, securely manage credentials and certificates, and support security and compliance requirements across all systems.

Supporting Skills & Knowledge

• IT Administration: Administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, including user management, access control, licenses, and security policies.
• DNS & SSL: Manage domains, DNS records, and SSL/TLS certificate installation and renewal.
• Database (MySQL): Perform basic MySQL administration, including backups, restores, and database health monitoring.
• Incident Management & RCA: Own production incident handling, perform root cause analysis (RCA), document corrective actions, participate in post-incident reviews, and implement preventive measures.
• Auditing & IT Procedures: Adhere to IT policies and SOPs, support internal and external audits, assist with audit evidence collection, maintain compliance documentation, and ensure process adherence.

• A graduate or post-graduate degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics (B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA, etc.) orsomeone with relevant professional experience.
• With at least 2-4 Years of hands-on experience in Cloud and Security Operations
• Strong ownership and accountability

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
