About the Role

As the Cloud and Digital Transformation Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing, architecting, and leading the development of innovative cloud-native and custom solutions. You will be responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives, modernizing legacy systems, and ensuring the effective execution of cloud strategies and migrations. Your hands-on expertise in cloud platforms, software development, and technical leadership will be critical in achieving successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and Lead Design, architect, and oversee the development and implementation of cloud-native and custom solutions that align with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Drive Digital Transformation Lead the modernization of legacy systems, automate processes, and integrate advanced data and analytics capabilities to support transformation initiatives.
• Cloud Strategy and Migration Develop and execute effective cloud migration strategies, leveraging AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
• Project Management Manage cross-functional teams through the entire software development lifecycle, applying agile methodologies and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Technical Leadership Mentor and guide a team of developers, DevOps engineers, and QA professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and promoting best practices in coding standards, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical leadership to ensure solutions align with organizational goals.
• Innovation and Emerging Technologies Stay current with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, and assess their potential integration into cloud architectures.
• Security and Compliance Ensure solutions adhere to industry security standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2) and implement security best practices in cloud and software solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 10+ years in software development, cloud engineering, or related roles.
• At least 5+ years in a technical leadership role focused on cloud-native or digital transformation projects.
• Cloud Platforms: In-depth experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including IaaS, PaaS, serverless, and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Software Development: Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Node.js, .NET Core, or Angular/React.
• Microservices and APIs: Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and integration strategies.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and automated testing.
• Security Best Practices: Experience in implementing security best practices such as data encryption, identity management, and application security.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience in Agile or Scrum environments, with a solid understanding of agile principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in machine learning, AI, or data engineering in a cloud environment.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data integration tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, AWS Glue).
• Understanding of IoT architecture, blockchain, or edge computing solutions.
