CLM Configuration Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a CLM Configuration Engineer to design, configure, and optimize our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with leading CLM systems and a strong understanding of contract management workflows, business processes, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

**System Configuration & Customization**

- Configure and customize CLM platform features including workflows, templates, approvals, and dashboards

- Design and implement contract templates, clause libraries, and metadata frameworks

- Configure business rules, obligation tracking, and automated notifications

- Set up user roles, permissions, and access controls

**Solution Configuration and Unit Testing

Configure and Unit Test of all Artifacts (Includes Data Model, Intake Forms, Workflows, Contract Templates, Clause Library, Approval Rules, Reports & Dashboards, Alerts & Notifications, Search, Playbook, Security)

**Testing & Quality Assurance**

- Conduct system testing including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing

- Troubleshoot configuration issues and implement solutions

- Validate workflows, integrations, and data accuracy

- Document test cases and results

Required Qualifications

**Technical Skills**

- Experience configuring CLM systems such as Conga CLM, Icertis, or Malbek

- Strong understanding of contract lifecycle processes (authoring, negotiation, execution, renewal, compliance)

- Experience with system integrations using APIs, webhooks, and middleware

- Proficiency in workflow design and automation tools

- Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, DocuSign, or similar platforms

**Professional Experience**

- Proven track record of successful CLM implementations and configurations

- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions

- Background in contract management, legal operations, or procurement (preferred)

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
