Development of the medical strategy and the quality of the implementation of the medical programming related to direct patient care, including identification of relevant specialist support
Delivering a realistic and achievable multi-year program plan in regard to clinical aspects and the Anti-microbial Resistance (AMR) research of Patna project with agreed reporting requirements at key intervals Adapting different models of care to meet the needs of specific patient groups
Project facilitation and effective implementation
Leading on the development and implementation of AMR prevention and management approaches antibiotic stewardship, IPC and microbiology in this project that can then be taught and adapted for other MSF non-MSF contexts
Ensuring access to quality microbiology services (in the project or outsourced) to improve patient care and contribute to local surveillance
Ensuring the quality of care delivered in the project, including specialist care in specific regard to HIV, ICU and palliative care and quality of programming in regard to AMR approaches
Overseeing the management, support and supervision of the PMR and the different clinical teams, as well as their regular duties (medical stock management, including consumption, medical ordering and pharmaceutical access to medications, etc.)
Work closely with the technical teams of OCA for contributing to MSF guidelines, protocols, training tools, etc. to support advanced HIV, AMR, palliative care implementation in Patna and other contexts
Supervision of agreed learning objectives via training, operational research, implementation science or other chosen mechanisms to deliver local and global knowledge attainment and sharing ambitions
