Qualifications And Skills
- DHLS, BASLP, MASLP, or equivalent qualification
- Experience in Pure Tone Audiometry and Impedance Testing
- Skilled in patient consultation and hearing aid dispensing
- Ability to interpret audiometric results and create personalised care plans
- Strong communication skills to support and guide patients and their families
- Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest in audiology technology and care practices
Roles And Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed hearing tests to identify and treat hearing problems
- Fit and fine-tune hearing aids based on each patient's needs
- Guide patients and their families on hearing care and how to use and maintain hearing devices
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide complete care
- Keep accurate records of patient visits and treatments
- Support and mentor junior team members to build a positive work environment
- Regularly check and adjust hearing aids to ensure best results for patients
- Take part in community programs to raise awareness about hearing health and prevention
