Job Description

  • Complete clinical screenings and assessments for children seeking admission or currently enrolled at KLAY centres.
  • Schedule and manage assessment appointments at times convenient for families, including flexible or non-traditional hours when required.
  • Ensure consistent follow-up and maximum outreach to all children referred for assessment.
  • Work closely with the referred child, facilitators, centre leadership, curriculum team, psychologists, and other stakeholders to support timely completion of assessments.
  • Track progress from referral to assessment completion and ensure recommendations are clearly documented and shared with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support KLAY facilitators in implementing individualized programs for children within the assigned program room.
  • Participate in centre and network-level meetings to discuss assessment outcomes, child needs, and intervention planning for children aged 6 months to 6 years.
  • Collect and maintain outcome data with accuracy and transparency to support timely and appropriate child interventions.
  • Provide guidance and ongoing support to facilitators and in-centre staff regarding assessment findings and post-referral actions.
  • Maintain regular coordination with the corporate team for updates, documentation, and follow-ups.
  • Design, execute, and monitor LAPs for children as per prescribed hours and guidelines.

General Organizational Responsibilities

  • Attend and complete all required trainings, supervision sessions, and professional development programs.
  • Participate in centre-level discussions to ensure children receive appropriate and responsive support services.
  • Demonstrate ethical handling and responsible use of organizational property and resources.
  • Show sensitivity to children’s cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Uphold organizational values, code of ethics, and alignment with the KLAY mission.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and demonstrate positive leadership behaviors.
  • Act as a knowledge resource for families, centre teams, and partner organizations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.
