Team and role overview
Climate change is one of BII's key priorities, as articulated in our 2022-2026 corporate strategy and Climate Change Strategy. BII has also committed to implementing the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). Together, these set out an ambitious agenda for contributing towards the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
Purpose
The Climate team is hiring a Manager who will lead on climate across the BII Asia region. This is a senior and crucial role within BII and the successful candidate will act a leader on climate finance within the South and South East Asia region. This is a growth area for BII, with an increasing focus on delivering highly impactful deals that also mobilise private investors to accelerate climate action. This role will primarily lead on our Infrastructure climate investments, but may also work on financial institutions and real economy investments as needed. This role offers significant exposure to high-impact transactions and opportunities to shape BII's climate strategy in a strategically important region. The role can be based from either our Mumbai or Bengaluru offices.
