Role Overview

Meraki Communications (CAB Experiences) is seeking a Client Servicing Manager for the GBU. This role focuses on high-stakes industrial, defence, and government projects alongside some large-scale corporate accounts.

This is a specialized strategic role focused exclusively on a high-level client base; our portfolio includes large scale events (excluding entertainment events). You will be a primary bridge between the client and our internal teams, taking ownership of the presentations, client relationship, and the strategic research necessary to keep our proposals ahead of the curve.

A deep understanding of public sector ethics and compliance rules regarding conduct is considered a significant plus.

1. Strategic Research & Market Intelligence

Trend Analysis: Proactively research global market trends to bring fresh ideas to the table.

Competitor Benchmarking: Monitor the activities of our clients competitors to ensure our creative and operational delivery remains superior.

Upcoming Events & Tenders: Maintain a track of the industry calendar to identify upcoming events and broad requirements relevant to our portfolio.

Digital Integration: Possess an understanding of social media platforms to effectively amplify event visibility and impact.

2. Presentation & Narrative Mastery (Primary Focus)

Pitch: Build, structure, and design high-impact presentations from scratch using Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides.

Confident Delivery: While presenting to senior stakeholders, articulate by fluently expanding on key talking points to drive an engaging, unscripted dialogue. ● Quick Thinking: Handle spontaneous client questions and defend the team's creative or strategic choices during live meetings.

Data-Driven Briefs: Use your research to add tangible value and storytelling depth to every presentation.

Brand Loyalty: Demonstrate the mindset to flaunt the organisation's work and capabilities

when required and not otherwise (for some client interactions/presentations) 3. Technical 3.Technical Workflow & Financial Oversight

Cloud Management: Maintain all project files, research documents, and work-in-progress exclusively on Google Drive.

Software Toolkit: Professional knowledge of Google Drive, Slides, Sheets, and Docs, as well as MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, is mandatory.

Strategic Constraints: Plan and organize delivery with attention to both financial and time constraints, including data cleansing and structuring to ensure high-quality data output.

4. Coordination & On-Ground Execution

Client Liaison: Meet/Interact with clients regularly to understand their specific needs and wants and ensure those details are captured for each event.

Internal Coordination: Act as the point of contact between the client and internal Creative, Accounts/Finance, and Admin/Operations teams.

Project Management Skills: Utilize multitasking skills and strong project management to ensure each member of the team delivers and nothing is missed to meet overall timelines. ○ Team Leadership: Manage project team to ensure high-quality output, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence.

Vendor Management: Research and compare different vendors (furniture, catering, decorators/florals, props, tech partners, etc.) and negotiate for the most favorable terms.

Operational Oversight: Lead on-ground execution with a hands-on approach, managing venue preparation, F&B, collaterals, maintaining checklists and show management. ● On Field: Carefully oversee event happenings and offer solutions to resolve problems in a timely manner.

Post-Event Evaluation: Evaluate the event's success and submit comprehensive reports.

Required Qualifications & Mindset

Experience: 3–5 years in Event Management, specifically in a Client Servicing or Coordinator role.

Portfolio: A proven track record and portfolio of successful industrial or corporate events.

Skillset: Critical thinker who is street smart, with good problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. Must possess market pricing research knowledge and an understanding of industry technical terminology.

Execution Skills: Good time-management capabilities and the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery.

Leadership & Foresight: Possess leadership skills with a passion for developing team capabilities, utilizing foresight and adaptability to bring ideas to life.

Resilience: Ability to embrace change with confidence and work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment.

Mindset: A strong sense of ownership and genuine enthusiasm for events. Must act as a dedicated team player with impeccable discretion regarding sensitive information.

Flexibility: Prepared for long hours during live projects or pitches and significant travel for long-duration on-site stays.

Education: A degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a similar relevant field is preferred.
