A domestic insurance company is modernising its client-relationship function for corporate and group-insurance clients, replacing a mix of phone calls and spreadsheets with a named relationship manager for each large account. Flexiple is running this hire as the managed marketplace that places India-based talent into roles like this one at regional companies rebuilding how they serve their biggest clients.
The role
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will hold a portfolio of corporate and group policy clients, staying close enough to catch problems before renewal season turns them into lost accounts.
Account Ownership
- Manage a defined portfolio of corporate and group-insurance clients end to end
- Run quarterly account reviews covering claims history, coverage gaps, and renewal terms
- Act as the client's advocate inside the company when claims or servicing stall
Renewals and Claims Coordination
- Coordinate with claims and underwriting teams to keep large or disputed claims moving
- Prepare renewal proposals and negotiate terms alongside the underwriting team
- Track portfolio health and flag accounts at risk of non-renewal early
What you bring
- 4 to 8 years in relationship management, broking, or corporate account servicing in insurance or financial services
- Comfort reading policy wordings and explaining coverage in plain language
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings
Nice to have
- Exposure to group health, property, or commercial-lines insurance
- A professional insurance qualification such as III or equivalent
