Client Partner - Medical Coding - Interventional Radiology Coding

We are seeking a dedicated Client Partner - Medical Coding with specialized expertise in Interventional Radiology (IVR) Coding. This role is critical for ensuring the accurate and compliant coding of complex IVR procedures, which is essential for proper reimbursement and revenue cycle management. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IVR coding, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to resolving coding-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review medical reports thoroughly to understand and interpret all procedures, services, and diagnoses related to interventional radiology.
• Identify the correct procedures/interventional services and diagnoses from the documentation.
• Accurately assign CPT, ICD-10, and appropriate Modifiers.
• Work proactively on coding-related denials or issues to ensure claims are paid or processed to the next stage.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity in all coding assignments.

Job Requirements:

• Graduates in life sciences with a minimum of two years of experience in IVR coding.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Proven experience in coding both simple and complex IVR procedures.
• Exposure to CPT-4, ICD-10, Modifiers, and HCPCS coding systems.
• A current coding certification with valid proof is required. CCS, CPC, CPC-H, CIC, or COC certification from AAPC/AHIMA is a significant plus.
• Experience with Excode and ImageNow software is also a plus.
