Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced professional with relevant experience in analytics, consulting, sales, business development, and client engagement.
As Client engagement Manager, you will lead business development and client engagement for our Analytics and AI offerings in Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) and Risk to banking, insurance, and financial institutions. The role involves working closely with banks, insurance companies and financial institutions to identify opportunities, articulate value propositions, and drive revenue growth through consultative solution and selling services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and closure
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, compliance heads, CROs, and technology leaders across BFSI
- Be able to understand customer pain points, compliance obligations and operational challenges to position tailored solutions and act as a trusted advisor
- Be able to conduct first level solution demonstrations and presentations with prospective clients with support from pre-sales team
- Build partnerships with technology vendors, system integrators, and consulting firms to expand market reach
- Monitor competitor offerings and provide insights to refine sales strategy
- Be able to design and contribute to go-to-market strategy for Sutra offerings
Qualification & Skills:
- Bachelor/ master's degree in finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years of proven sales/business development experience of solutions and services sales in BFSI sector preferably in financial crime, AML, fraud management, enterprise risk solution or analytics sales
- Familiarity with the local regulatory requirements and local market landscape needs
- Good consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong network across banking and financial services sector
- Ability to translate technical solution capabilities into business value with some support from pre-sales
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage long and complex sales cycles
- Good proficiency in speaking and writing English language
- Required to travel for client meetings, demos workshops etc
