This is a remote freelance role focused on new client wins and revenue growth.
Primary Title: Freelance Business Development Manager (Client Acquisition) Remote (India)
Role & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end client acquisition: identify high-potential prospects, qualify leads, and convert them into paying clients through outbound channels.
- Design and execute multi-channel outreach cadences using LinkedIn, targeted email sequences, and cold calls to build a consistent pipeline.
- Create tailored proposals and commercial terms that align client needs with service capabilities and margin targets.
- Manage CRM entries, maintain accurate sales pipeline stages, and update opportunity metrics for forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with delivery and marketing teams to refine messaging, create case-driven pitch materials, and accelerate onboarding for new clients.
- Hit monthly conversion and revenue targets on a freelance/commission basis while maintaining high client satisfaction and handover quality.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven track record of acquiring B2B clients through outbound channels and closing deals.
- Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting and outreach.
- Practical knowledge of HubSpot CRM or equivalent for lead management and pipeline tracking.
- Strong experience with cold calling and structured email outreach sequences that drive responses.
- Ability to develop persuasive proposals and commercial offers tailored to client requirements.
- Familiarity with sales reporting, forecasting, and conversion metric tracking.
Preferred
- Experience selling services to mid-market or enterprise clients in India or APAC.
- Familiarity with outreach automation tools (Lemlist, Mailshake) and CRM integrations.
- Background in digital marketing, SaaS, or growth consulting that aids consultative selling.
