About Retail Ops:

The Centralized Reconciliation and settlement team look after all the major parts of the reconciliation of the bank related to Government Business, Merchant Payments, ATM's and networking settlements. They also manage all the disputes related to ATMs and recycler machines by following up with vendors within given timelines and as per RBI guidelines. They are responsible for resolving all the queries, requests and complaints related to Government Business i.e., NPS, APY, RBI agency reporting under which all ministries payments & Receipts. They also manage the recon of PPF, Sukanya Samrudhi, Pensions related to Government sectors

About the Role:

The Network Accounting and Recon - Team Member is responsible for ensuring that there is error free handling of Network Accounting and Reconciliation process within stipulated TAT and for timely reversal of outstanding entries from office accounts/payable/receivable accounts

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for completion of reconciliation of transactions for cards (Debit/Credit) related process pertaining to various interchange Network like NPCI/Euronet/Visa/Master Card within stipulated TAT.
  • Ensure the preparation of GL justification/Control sheet on daily basis
  • Ensuring that there is error free reconciliation process handling. Any exceptions observed while handling reconciliation process should be highlighted to concerned stakeholders on timely basis for resolution.
  • Conducting UAT on system development for reconciliation modules.
  • Ensure that there are no audit remarks on the daily processes handled.

Qualifications:

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

  • Graduation/ Post-Graduation from a recognized institute

  • Knowledge of banking products and services
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms
  • Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language
  • Ability to manage complex client situations & manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
