Claims Officer - A&H

Competency:

• In-depth understanding of personal accident insurance policies/ Travel Insurance, claims procedures, and relevant regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with claimants, team members, and other stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills to resolve claims disputes and achieve fair settlements.
• Good Analytical skills and Familiar with Basic Microsoft Excel and regulatory changes

Responsibility:

• Overseeing the entire lifecycle of personal accident claims, including initial reporting, investigation, documentation, and settlement.
• Evaluating complex claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policy terms and regulations.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for claimants, providing updates, addressing concerns, and maintaining positive customer relations
• Negotiating settlements with claimants, ensuring fair and timely resolution of claims
• Ensuring all claims handling activities adhere to relevant insurance laws and regulations
• Analyzing claims data to identify trends, improve processes, and reduce claim costs.
• Preparing regular reports for senior management on claims performance and operational efficiency
• Addressing and resolving escalated claims issues and disputes
• Open file review Weekly and publishing weekly reports of OFR Cases

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/Diploma in Engineering/Graduate
