Job Title: Civil Structural Design Engineer
Education Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Civil) & M. Tech (Structural Engineering) from Government college / NIT's/ MSIL Approved Colleges
Work Experience: 2 - 7 years
Nature of work exp.: Analysis and design of RCC and steel structures for different industrial plants & Commercial Buildings
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to independently do the framing of both steel & RCC structures, apply loads on the elements of the structure , analyze the structures on the software platforms, understand the output results from the analysis of structures & design the different elements of the structure based on I.S. codal provisions.
- Should be conversant with different IS codal provisions and be able to interpret the different provisions of IS codes
- Shall have very good knowledge in microsoft excel which shall enable him / her to generate automated excel sheets for design of footings, columns, beams etc. using macros (as required).
- Should be able to give proper inputs to for drafting , check the prepared drawings w.r.t the design outputs and release the drawings for construction
- Lead the detailed design and review of structural design drawings, covering conceptual to detailed design phase, ensuring compliance with technical codes standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare technical reports and documentation as required
- Skills:
- Proficient in structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD & Other relevant software.
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools like Revit
- MS Office i.e. word, excel, power point
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
