Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of employees, contractors, and visitors on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safety Planning: Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans, procedures, and protocols.

2. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.

3. Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

4. Training and Awareness: Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.

5. Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.

7. Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure safety is integrated into project planning and execution.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in a similar role.

3. Certifications: Professional certification in safety.

Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of construction safety principles, practices, and regulations.

2. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

4. Proficient in MS Office and safety management .
