Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil QA/QC Engineer located in the Bangalore Urban district. Responsibilities include overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes, conducting inspections to ensure compliance with standards, auditing construction activities, and implementing quality management systems. The role also involves maintaining documentation and collaborating with project teams to ensure project quality requirements are met.

Qualifications

1.Strong understanding and experience in quality assurance and quality control processes in construction  or infrastructure development

  2.Proficiency in conducting inspections, quality control documentation, and implementing quality procedures

 3.Familiarity with construction standards, materials testing methods, and safety regulations

 4.Effective problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

 5.Excellent communication skills and team coordination abilities

 6.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field

 7.Professional certifications in QA/QC or related fields are an added advantage

 8.Proven experience in a similar role and knowledge of tools/software relevant to QA/QC processes is preferred

  9.To close out issues requiring corrective actions and implement preventive measures.

  10.Preparing & tracking the status of closure of observation & NCRs

  11.Maintaining detailed records of inspections and tests.

  12.Regular site inspections for site ongoing works, raising internal observations & follow-ups with site team to get the same rectified.

  13.To prepare the Quality review meeting points

  14.Responsible for the preparation and checking of Quality plan, Method statement with respect to specifications / IS codes.

  15.Maintaining all documents related to the site Quality Department, Drawing Register, and Checklist.

  16.To ensure that proper methodology and instructions are followed in execution of various activities.

  Materials Management

  17.Deliver Quality Toolbox Talk and conduct weekly meetings at site for guiding site engineers and workmen to achieve desired quality and improve workmanship in construction operations.

  18.To ensure that approved material is being used at site and proper documentation is being done for traceability of quality checks.

  19.Identification of Non-Conformities (Violation of SOP) and coordination with site team for resolving Non-Conformities (NC's) in stipulated time.

  20.Sampling and Visual Checks on Concrete, Cement Grout etc.

  21.Experience in mivan Aluminium form work 

  22.Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the QA/QC Head
