Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Project Engineer with 25 years of hands-on experience in construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, coordination, quality control, and ensuring projects are completed within timelines and budget.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Execution & Site Management- Supervise day-to-day site activities.
- Ensure work execution as per drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site workers.
2. Planning & Coordination- Assist in project planning and scheduling.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and MEP teams.
- Ensure proper manpower planning and material availability.
3. Quality Control- Conduct regular quality inspections.
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards.
- Verify material quality and workmanship at site.
- Maintain site quality checklists and reports.
4. Quantity & Billing- Perform quantity verification and measurements.
- Prepare and verify contractor bills.
- Maintain daily progress reports (DPR).
- Assist in cost control and budget monitoring.
5. Documentation & Reporting- Maintain site records, drawings, and approvals.
- Submit weekly and monthly progress reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 25 years of experience in residential/commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of site execution and construction methodology.
- Good understanding of drawings, BOQ, and quantity calculations.
- Familiar with MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project reporting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple sites (if required).
Preferred Candidate Profile- Experience in villa, apartment, or interior fit-out projects.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Good coordination and team management skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
