Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Civil Engineer based in Kolkata. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing civil engineering solutions, planning project layouts, and managing stormwater systems in solar projects. Day-to-day tasks will include creating detailed civil engineering designs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met. The role may also involve supporting project execution and liaising with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design along with strong foundational knowledge of Civil Engineering principles
- Experience in Planning and executing civil infrastructure elements of renewable energy projects
- Familiarity with Stormwater Management techniques in large-scale solar or infrastructure projects
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD, and related tools is a plus
- One or more years of experience in civil engineering, ideally within the renewable energy sector
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, dynamic on-site environment
