Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead and manage large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, design review, execution, and delivery of projects while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with local regulations.
Senior civil engineers typically oversee major infrastructure works like buildings, roads, bridges, and utilities, while managing budgets, timelines, and teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end execution of civil projects (residential/commercial/infrastructure)
- Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines and deliverables
- Review and approve drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and government authorities
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety norms, and regulations
- Manage project budgets, cost control, and resource allocation
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality assurance & quality control (QA/QC)
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and site teams
- Prepare project reports, MIS, and progress documentation
Senior engineers also handle design validation, construction supervision, and stakeholder coordination across project phases.
Key Requirements- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech preferred)
- 1215 years of experience in construction/infrastructure projects
- Strong experience in project management and site execution
- Expertise in RCC, structural works, finishing, and infrastructure works
- Knowledge of local Gujarat regulations and approval processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, Excel
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills- Experience in high-rise or township projects
- Exposure to government/liaisoning work in Gujarat
- Knowledge of cost estimation, BOQ, and tendering
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices
