Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, ensuring quality standards, and completing projects within timelines and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day site operations and construction activities
- Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and specifications
- Ensure work is executed as per approved plans and quality standards
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports (DPR)
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants
- Manage labour, materials, and equipment efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site protocols
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues
- Verify measurements and handle billing processes
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project
- Good understanding of quantity surveying and estimation
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and team management skills
Qualification:
- B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
