Position: Civil Design Engineer

Location: Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct topographical survey & soil investigation review (SBC, CBR, resistivity, water table).

Prepare Design Basis Report (DBR) and detailed civil layouts (roads, drainage, fencing, MCR/ICR).

Design MMS foundations, transformer & inverter foundations, and other RCC structures as per IS codes.

Design of Main Control Room (MCR) & Inverter Control Room (ICR) (RCC/prefab/container type) as per NBC & BIS.

Plan & design stormwater drainage, rainwater harvesting, and land development.

Prepare designs for approach & peripheral roads, pathways, and module cleaning water system.

Prepare civil BOQ, cost estimates, and technical drawings for execution.

Ensure compliance with IS/IEC, NBC, MoRTH, IRC standards.

Coordinate with Electrical/SCADA teams for trenching, control rooms, and utility layouts.

Support in obtaining statutory approvals (CEIG, Fire etc.).

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of IS 456, IS 875, IS 1893, NBC, MoRTH/IRC codes.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro/ETABS, Civil 3D; Excel for BOQ.

Experience in solar power plant civil design preferred.

Ability to prepare drawings, design reports, and material estimation.

Coordination skills with EPC, contractors, and site teams.

Qualification & Experience:

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech preferred).

36 years experience in civil design (min. 2 years in solar/infra projects).
