About the Role
We are looking for a Civics / Political Science Tutor (K10) – Freelancer to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on school-level social science education, conceptual clarity, and curriculum-aligned learning.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to civics, political systems, governance, and social structures, helping improve how AI models explain and teach concepts to K10-level students.
You will collaborate with global AI and education teams to assess the accuracy, clarity, and age-appropriateness of AI-generated content. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for education, tutoring, and curriculum support.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including lesson explanations, examples, and practice questions aligned with K10 curriculum
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to civics and political science topics
- Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
- Ensure explanations are clear, engaging, and appropriate for school-level learners
- Assess AI outputs for factual accuracy, conceptual clarity, and curriculum alignment
- Identify gaps, misleading information, or inappropriate complexity in AI-generated content and provide structured feedback
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on education and student learning
Requirements
- Background in Political Science, Civics, Social Studies, Education, or related fields
- Strong understanding of K10-level curriculum and core concepts in civics and governance
- Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, student-friendly explanations
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or content creation for school students is preferred
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
