Role Overview:
We are looking for an engaging and knowledgeable Civics / Political Science Tutor (K-10) to support our education and AI content initiatives. This role involves teaching, simplifying complex concepts, and creating high-quality academic content aligned with school-level curricula.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Civics / Political Science concepts to K-10 students in a clear and engaging manner
- Simplify complex topics such as governance, constitution, rights, and public policy
- Create and review educational content (notes, questions, explanations)
- Align content with relevant curricula (CBSE/ICSE/State Boards)
- Support doubt resolution and ensure conceptual clarity for students
- Contribute to structured datasets for AI-driven learning solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Social Studies, or related field
- 1–3 years of teaching, tutoring, or content creation experience
- Strong understanding of K-10 Civics / Political Science curriculum
- Excellent communication and explanation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Good to Have:
- Prior experience in EdTech or online tutoring platforms
- Familiarity with curriculum standards (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards)
- Experience in content creation or academic writing
- Interest in education, policy, or social sciences
