Overview of role:
This position is primarily responsible for end-to-end systems and application within the Citrix infrastructure services for the Envestnet business. Working with partners and technical subject matter experts, this person will report to the Manager, System Administration and business partners on issue resolution, Citrix service delivery and problem management. Oversee execution of ITIL processes and that vendor and internal experts resolve and improve global Citrix infrastructure services. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to execute an action plan across technical domains towards fixing, maintaining & improving, Citrix infrastructure services. Must be willing to assist, EUC, networking & InfoSec, Sysadmin in supporting IT Services.
Duties and responsibilities:
Participate in on-call support rotation for both USA and India business requirements (circa 1 in 4/6 week rotation including weekend and holiday cover)
Support the Citrix infrastructure environment within the IST time zone (8am 11pm IST two-shift rota) for the global business and Provide intervention and guidance for end-users to urgently resolve and restore technical services
Provide superior customer service to internal clients proactively notifying customers of issues as well as reactively responding to escalations accordingly
Develop and execute action plans across technical experts for meeting business needs of infrastructure services
Track incidents and problem RCA responses for global systems, Citrix applications and infrastructure services via approved methods
Direct responsibility for Citrix systems and applications including configuration, testing, administration, support, and maintenance with an aptitude to also work within Microsoft, Linux and VMware environments.
Provide support, maintenance, security, and planning for a corporate Citrix based systems (where applicable) and applications. Oversee and assist with system and development response and resolution to Citrix systems and infrastructure service issues
Work with Global Manager, Director, and technical engineers to develop technology roadmap showing how to move from current condition to future vision
Maintain a positive working relationship with business, technical teams and vendors alike
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented environments
Validate that technical teams provide documentation for systems and development solutions
Assist in preparation of proposals and design, solution presentations
Assist with change management requests and approval globally
Assist with network support and troubleshooting (as and when required pertaining to Citrix only)
Assist with developing and defining policies and procedures for global Citrix IT Services
Assist with Junior Citrix Engineers in problem resolution for end user support
Performance and success indicators:
Analyses business needs, designs, installs, and supports applications and systems solutions on single or multiple platforms in a Citrix Windows / Linux mixed environment. Utilize expertise in systems and applications to create enterprise-wide solutions. The qualified candidate will work in coordination with partners, internal technology teams and stakeholders in creating and maturing full end to end Citrix support services framework.
The candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. The individual must also exhibit the ability to communicate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience as and when required. Ability to work independently as well as with other team members (specifically Citrix Desktop Support) and various support vendors. The post holder should be able to diagnose problems effectively with minimal down time as outlined in agreed Service Level Agreements. Must be able to perform in a demanding environment and be capable of handling multiple priorities at any given time. They must be flexible in schedule and be able to work out of hours and be on-call as and when required.

Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and administrating Primarily Citrix and windows-based systems and applications pertaining to Citrix.
Ability to prioritize workload accordingly.
Plan and coordinate, install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain Citrix, Windows and Linux technologies.
Create and maintain infrastructure standards documentation as it relates to Citrix infrastructure systems design, configuration, support, and processes
Experience with system administration of Windows server platforms preferred.
Experience with VMWare virtualisation and administration
