Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Opex Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Develop and manage Opex budgets for various operational areas within the organization.
  • Conduct regular forecasting to anticipate future expenses and ensure alignment with overall financial goals.

Expense Tracking and Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze operational expenses to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to optimize Opex while maintaining operational efficiency and quality standards.

Vendor Management:

  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and manage relationships to ensure quality service delivery within budgetary constraints.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to implement best practices and standardize processes related to Opex management.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies related to Opex management.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with operational expenses, including cost overruns and budget variances.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare and present regular reports on Opex performance, budget variance analysis, and key metrics to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on Opex-related initiatives.
