Job Description

Job Title: Cinematographer (Video & Photo)

Location: Bread Butter Club

Job Type: Hybrid Production

Department: Media / Production

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Cinematographer to join our production team. This role is responsible for capturing and editing high-quality video and photo content across a variety of projects including commercials, branded content, events, interviews, and social media campaigns. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for visual storytelling, lighting, and composition, and is highly proficient in post-production workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Shooting (Video & Photo):

Operate a variety of professional cinema and photography cameras (Sony E mount).

Set up and manage lighting for both indoor and outdoor shoots, including natural light and artificial lighting setups.

Plan and execute camera movements, framing, and shot composition in line with project goals.

Direct subjects and talent during shoots to achieve desired visual style and mood.

Capture behind-the-scenes (BTS) and still photography as needed.

Editing (Video & Photo):

Edit video content with a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and rhythm.

Perform color correction and color grading using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro.

Edit and retouch photos using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

Sync and mix audio, add music, titles, and visual effects as required.

Maintain consistent visual quality and brand style across all projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Proficient in professional video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve (Optional).

Skilled in photo editing software: Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom.

Experience with motion graphics is a plus (e.g., Adobe After Effects).

Deep understanding of camera operations, lens choices, frame rates, and exposure settings.

Knowledge of lighting techniques for various environments and moods.

Familiar with file management, codecs, and exporting for multiple platforms (social, web, broadcast).

Creative Skills:

Strong visual storytelling and composition abilities.

Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, and sound design in editing.

Understanding of color theory and image aesthetics.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team on creative projects.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to manage time and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Receptive to feedback and able to incorporate revisions quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Film Production, Cinematography, Media Arts, or related field (not required if compensated by experience).

2+ years of professional experience in a similar role.

Portfolio demonstrating both video and photo work is required with application.
