Role Description

Hotel Centre Point is seeking a dedicated and passionate Demi Chef de Partie specializing in Chinese and Indian cuisine. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Key responsibilities include preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, assisting with menu development, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and collaborating with the kitchen brigade to ensure efficient operations. The role requires adherence to food presentation standards, portion control, and handling special dietary requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing authentic Chinese and Indian cuisine with expertise in cooking techniques and flavor profiles.
• Proficiency in food preparation, presentation, and quality control.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, safety standards, and proper food storage practices.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
• Formal culinary training or a degree in Culinary Arts is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end hospitality setting is preferred.
