Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Nagpur for a Chinese DCDP (Demi Chef de Partie) & Commis. The role involves the preparation of high-quality Chinese cuisine, adhering to the highest hygiene and culinary standards. Daily tasks include food preparation, assisting the senior chefs, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the consistency and presentation of dishes. The role also demands coordination with kitchen staff to provide a seamless dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Chinese cuisine preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, recipe creation, and ingredient preparation
  • Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety protocols
  • Strong teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Formal culinary training or relevant certifications preferred
  • Prior experience in a professional kitchen, especially in Chinese cuisine, is an advantage
