Roles and Responsibilities

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will define and drive the company's technology strategy, ensuring delivery of cutting-edge, secure, and scalable products for BFSI clients.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in banking technology, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation within the financial domain, along with proven leadership in product engineering and emerging technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Leadership o Define and execute the long-term technology roadmap aligned with business strategy and client needs.

o Drive innovation in lending and transaction banking platforms through AI/ML, cloud, and open banking frameworks.

o Champion modernization initiatives including microservices, DevOps, and cloud-native architectures.

Product & Platform Engineering

o Oversee architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade BFSI products ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

o Collaborate with Product Management to translate customer and market insights into robust technology solutions.

o Ensure adherence to technology quality, compliance, and governance frameworks.

People & Culture

o Lead and mentor large, cross-functional engineering teams fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

o Build strong collaboration between product, engineering, and customer success functions. Stakeholder & Ecosystem Engagement

o Engage with clients, partners, and internal leadership to position the organization as a trusted technology leader in the BFSI space.

o Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, partnerships, and tools that accelerate value creation.

Skills and qualifications

15+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles within the BFSI / FinTech / Enterprise Software sectors.

Proven expertise in designing and delivering large-scale banking, lending, or payments platforms. Strong background in cloud transformation, API-led architectures, data analytics, and cybersecurity.

Demonstrated success in leading high-performing engineering teams and driving digital transformation programs.

Excellent stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and execution capability.
